1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Kompa Lifetime Access, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our products or services.

2. Use License

Kompa Pro (Lifetime) grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Kompa software and associated documentation. This license is for personal or commercial use.

Components that are copied directly with Kompa (including without limitation, dragged and dropped from the Kompa interface) are limited to a single-use license. This license gives you, the purchaser, the ability to use the library on an ongoing, non-exclusive basis. You may NOT distribute any components to others or create a similar or competing product.

You are allowed to:

  • Use our component library to create end products for your own personal or commercial projects.

  • Modify our components to fit your specific needs and combine with other works to create derivative works.

  • Use the components multiple times, in multiple projects (‘multi-use’ license).

  • Create and sell Framer templates using Kompa — only if you hold a valid Lifetime Access license.

You are not allowed to:

  • Resell or otherwise distribute downloaded assets on any marketplace or private channels under any circumstances.

  • Copy and paste components directly from Kompa into a folder without any modifications. Each component has a unique encoded signature that detects violations.

  • Offer the downloaded components to any third party, including as editable source files.

  • Reverse engineer our components, content, or software to redistribute or create competing products.

  • Redistribute items, no matter how modified. Contact us directly with any questions.

3. Template Licensing Restriction for Free Users

Only Lifetime Access users are permitted to create and sell Framer templates using Kompa components. Free users may not use any Kompa components for resale, distribution, or commercial template creation. Doing so violates this license agreement and may result in account suspension and legal action.

4. Lifetime Access Terms

Kompa Pro (Lifetime) is a one-time purchase that grants the user access to the Kompa component library and associated features for the life of the product. “Lifetime” refers to the continued availability and support of the current version of Kompa, not the lifespan of the purchaser.

Kompa Design Pty Ltd reserves the right to discontinue or modify the product at any time. Lifetime access includes updates and support for as long as Kompa Pro is actively maintained. This license is subject to the usage limitations in Section 2.

5. Plan Transition Notice

Kompa is transitioning away from subscription-based pricing to a Lifetime Access model. Existing subscription users may be eligible to upgrade to Lifetime access at no additional cost during a limited opt-in period. After this period, subscription plans may no longer be available or supported. Users who do not opt in will remain on their current subscription unless they choose to cancel. Kompa Design Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue subscription offerings as part of this transition.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design elements, and software provided by Kompa are the intellectual property of Kompa Design Pty Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kompa Design Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any damages (including loss of data, profit, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the products, even if notified of such possibilities. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

8. Updates and Changes

Kompa Design Pty Ltd reserves the right to change prices, update, modify, or discontinue the product at any time without prior notice. Modifications to these Terms and Conditions may occur, and your continued use signifies acceptance.

9. Termination

If Kompa suspects non-compliance with these terms, we reserve the right to block your account and restrict access without refund or explanation. Violations will be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Do I need to know how to use Framer?

It isn't necessary to be a Framer pro, a general understanding of Framer will help. In fact, most of the support questions we get from customers are general Framer questions. Kompa is very intuitive for most Framer users. If you're new to Framer, or keen to learn best practices, check out our free version to see if it's a good fit. The full version will always be here whenever you are ready. We also recommend checking out Framer Academy for incredible tutorials for beginners.

Do I need a Framer Pro plan to use Kompa?

Nope! Kompa will work on every single Framer plan including Free, forever. You don’t need Framer Pro to use Kompa. All Kompa components work with the free version of Framer. However, if you want to publish a custom domain or use Framer’s CMS features, you’ll need to upgrade your site.

How do I use Kompa in Framer?

Kompa is a plugin, which means it's basically a little app that you can open in your project and drag and drop components from Kompa directly into your project. To open the plugin, open the quick action menu (⌘+K or CTRL+K for windows) and type in Kompa. Then hit enter, and the plugin will open for you to start using.

How does support work?

You can get help directly inside of the plugin and we'll get back to you within 24 hours. You can also schedule a 30 min video call and we'll debug your Framer issue live.

Do you provide video tutorials?
